Allan has been in the business of Security most of his life. He has served almost 20 years in the hotel industry, first at the Savoy in London, England and more recently with the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. With both companies he was the Director of Security. Allan joined Cadillac Fairview and Toronto-Dominion Centre in 2009 where his responsibilities include overseeing the security, fire and life safety of the TD Centre's tenant population.
Allan graduated from Leicester University (UK) with a Masters of Science in Risk Management.
