Round-the-Clock Safety
The Fire and Life Safety team, in tandem with Toronto-Dominion Centre Security, is responsible for the round-the-clock safety of the TD Centre's tenant population as well as the physical complex.
A highly trained team of 60 professionals monitor every corner of the property via the Centre's central nervous system, the Security Operation Centre. One of the Operation Centre's primary functions is to monitor the Fire Safety System, which alerts Operation Centre's staff to any potential dangers; setting in motion safety and response procedures.
The duties of the Fire and Life Safety team are critically important to the well being of the entire Toronto-Dominion Centre community. Fire safety, emergency evacuation, medical emergency response and tenant communication and education are the focus and foundation of what they do each and every day.
In the event of a medical emergency follow these three steps:

Immediately call EMS 911 and then, Building Security at 416-366-7823.

If Building Security has been contacted first, follow-up immediately with a call to 911.

To prevent further injury, try not to move the injured person.
Note: All front line TDC security personnel are trained First Aid/CPR/AED providers.
